Mac OS X is for the consumer, Windows is for the enterprise?

Mac is know as computer which is fashion and easy-to-use, and windows is popular as its wide range of use in both PC and server.
Although both Apple and Microsoft are trying their best to appeal to both enterprice and consumer, but it seems that most of the enterprices would like to use windows.

Does Apple make it difficult for developers to get on the Mac? really?

Let's take a look at Apple's coming-soon OS - Snow Leopard.

Firstly, snow Leopard's design is just like it's brother, for the most parts, the user will have the same basic experience as before. But it does not Apple didn't change anything. It has added exchange support which windows has had for years. And now Mac users could search through exchange with the software's spotlight search.
And the most important is that the exchange support which Apple added is 64-bit support. That means it would be faster for Snow Leopard to load all the native apps, including Finder, Spotlight and Mail.

Then the advantage of Mac OS X is that, any developer can register for free with Apple's Developer portal and download the tools for free and access the document completely free. But developers have to pay Microsoft for its development tools.

But windows has been widly used by enterprices, thousands of software are developed on windows. If except free, Mac OS X dose not have such kind of features that would make the developers or enterprice jump from Windows to Mac OS X. Pay them to write software for the Mac? That's can't be the answer!
